Lisa undoubtedly fit in the 1st Battalion. As the Bn S1, she has that firm grip on every cadet's neck. And while the cadets are gasping for breath doing push-ups only from the knees, Lisa would be on her toes doing the full-cock version. But Lis is more than the liberated, boyish image that we see. She's one perfect buddy.

ERNIE RAINIER ABROGAR

Rainier is one of the best table tennis players in school. He shows true devotion to the sport but has other plans for the future. He'd rather be a veterinarian than a table tennis pro.

To Marjo, Math and Science seem to be easy numbers and formulas which appear to be chicken-feed once he starts working on them. His curly hair, serious expression and fragile-build make him look - not-so-good. But underneath, flows a reservoir of endless thoughts and ideas. Described by friends as "kalog" and "madaling pakisamahan", he is quite an interesting person to have as a friend.

CAESAR AGAGAN

Do you know any senior (male, ha!) in UPIS who has never cut a single class since Kinder? Well, I do, Caesar of course! …a gentleman …great dancer …tennis freak …jack-of-all-trades (but master of what?) …He's such a serene person. Can we read his mind, think his thoughts or fell his feelings? I doubt it.

There is only one word to describe this tough, happy -go-lucky, boisterous, flabbergasting, brutally frank, bizzaringly wacky, good-looking guy ---"TUKS!" .

JUNE ALBERT AGAPITO

The other half of the Teacher's Pest Title. June could be the wackiest and zaniest in the group. He just loves to go around with girls. June tries to be a friend to everyone, but he is misunderstood by others.

Nolie may be small in appearance but watch out! She can catch you by the tongue with her wit and humor. And not only that! Whenever you see a group of classmates clowning around and giggling a lot, you can be sure to find er in the middle of it all. Nevertheless, a dependable and faithful friend, a budding writer, and a very goo companion…that's Nolie!

ELI ALAMPAY

The only thing that can match his silence is his artistic ability. True to himself, he prefers to stay in the background and lets his friends take center stage; although his diligence and sincerity and attractive features can easily make him stand out from the rest. He has what it takes to succeed in every endeavor he chooses.

Our Corps Ex O…ooohhh. The cadettes love him for his voice; the cadets for his poise. He attends classes in Advanced math but thinks of gals, guns and goons all the time. Paul is wonderfully and genuinely detached from this world's cares and fears, it seems. A great lover? Oh well, that's another story.

Although he looks more mature and wiser than his age, Renato is definitely young-at-heart. He considers any responsibility not a curse, welcomes it head on and tries to do his best. He is not loud and aggressive, and makes very good company. He considers Math his favorite subject. He may not be one to display enthusiasm and emotions openly, but he is one who can be counted on as a reliable and diligent, trustworthy friend.

A girl with the figure not-so-slim people envy. Her frail looks mask a sturdy volleyball player, who often leaves the spectators awed. She is so conscientious in her studies that she often forgets to eat. Jenny is a thoughtful girl. She'll never miss giving you a birthday card.

ALLAN ALOJADO

His muscular build has gained attention and has earned for him the occassional teasings of his being a "macho guy". He weears a stern expression that could well be intimidating. But on the contrary, he is a silent person who can only be caught chattering freely when in the company of his friends. That's Allan - the BE-SPECTACLED MAN!

If you meet a dark, good -looking guy, with possibly the curliest-eye-lashes you've seen, then you've come across Armin. With him, you'll never run out of things to say. But if he seems too quiet, he's just thinking of…someone unforgettable. There's so much more to him than what his sister, his friends or even he himself can say- you could be missing a lot if you don't find out for yourself. Because there's much more to a very good friend. Armin's gentle nature makes him the best friend you'll ever have.

Deserves a "Most Hopeful" or "Fighting Spirit" award for never failing to represent her homeroom as muse every year. Nonetheless, she will always be a winner with her charming probinsiyana ways. More than just a pretty face, a sensible girl who has learned to take things as they come. Undoubtedly, these traits make her one of the most well-liked girls in our batch.

Esmer is good to the last bite. A profound writer with even more profound eyes. He makes Mrs. Hermosa's teaching job worth all the effort. He is going for AB English and be another writer when almost everybody in the batch is gunning for the money generators - BA and Medicine. Do we see the successor of Alfredo Navarro Salanga or Quijano de Manila?

REYNALDO ANDRES

His eyebrows are always creased in frown, as if he's in deep thought. He is never cheerful. But Reynaldo is no cold fish in the company of his friends. He is accurate to the last detail in making his drafting plates, and seldom cuts classes. He is courteous to the members of the opposite sex, and idealistic in principles.

She has that classic little-girl-lost look; but then, you must not judge a book by its cover. She is a strong willed person who can be as serene as the sea. Her quietness is somewhat disturbing and people usually cannot tell what's going on in her mind. But she is humorous and lively in the company of friends.

MICHAEL ANGELES

Mike is the campus heartthrob who never brags about his god looks. A lot of girls have been trying their luck in winning his heart, but to no avail, for he only has eyes for his one and only DREAM GIRL. Campus heartthrob, pretty boy, nice guy…what can you say Mike? "Wow, pawe, bad twip!"

Bing here is a bundle of joy. Her smile can turn the guys head-over-heels. Although she denied having a yaya, she sure is the toddler of the group. But don't be deceived by her childish looks for deep inside her is a heart of a woman.

CORNELIO ANGELO ARBOLEDA

"Corny" and "Angelic?" Cadets attest that "Tutay" is like a mother hen, almost on the verge of tears when scolding his men. But the girls know him to be very polite and courteous. Student teachers admire his ultra-attentiveness when everybody else is laughing, talking and goofing. Hey, people, is he all these?

A Chinese beauty who speaks no Chinese. A friend with a good sense of humor who can really make you end up laughing. A person so easy to love. Moments with her are to be cherished for a long, long time.

JOSE ARENAS

If you can invent an adjective that goes beyond "super-friendly," then you have described Joey. If not, try the words of the song that goes"…tall and tan and young and handsome(?)…" Joey's all of these and more, that's why his friends are as many and as varied as his interests: anything from photography to cars. This page would certainly not be enough to contain all the youth and life in him.

Oh dear, he can lambast almost anyone with his British-accented now-famous "What?" But he loves basketball. Tongue-in-cheek, he'd argue with anybody and everybody (and that means everybody), all the time stubbornly clinging to his opinion, no matter what. Obstinacy? But they say, deep inside he is romantic.

If you hear some girls talking about a dark, handsome guy who keeps haunting their dreams at night, then they most probably are talking about Raul. It's not that he's dark and good looking; he's just not the romantic type who'd fir into your dreams. Rather, he's the kind you'd imagine to be always in action (be it on the court or the soccer field). He's also very patriotic. In fact, he's the present-day Bonifacio, Jacinto, and Luna, plus Normal Black and Pelè, all rolled into one.

Rita is one person who could never sit still for at least 5 minutes. Her restlessness and rather startling spontaneity, though, only draw others to her. She's always cheerful and ready for any 'adventure' that might come her way. Outgoing, fun loving and care free, but is nevertheless still the sensitive and sentimental girl.
